About Us
Ann Maxwell-Weisbrod Bio
As an art teacher, painter, sculptor, stained glass professional and retailer, art has always been a passion in Ann’s life. A BFA from Drake University and a year of studio work in Florence, Italy began her life long study of art,
design, and commitment to art education. Her whimsical, bright, contemporary pop folk art look and interactive art play concept are a winning combination that can now been seen in toys and products for the home and office. Her one of a kind works can be found in homes and offices across America. Her mission is to bring artistic, expressive play into everyday life by providing creative, enlightening, nonjudgmental spaces where everyone can experience success as a visual artist. Beyond the spirit of play, the underlying theme of all her work is acceptance and inclusion- we are all colorful, we are all unique, and we are all alike.
She lives with her husband Mark and their English Golden retriever, Alice on a farm in Illinois. They have 2 grown sons, Jason and Judd. |
